Help!

I have been married to a Japanese lady for almost 13 years, and yet there are certain subjects which often come up regarding our two countries that cause fights.

The latest is that grandchildren of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bomb victims are dying as a result of the after affects.

Her side is that America was wrong for dropping the bomb.

My side is that Japan was wrong for picking the fight and not quiting before the bomb was dropped.  I mean they didn't surrender until the second bomb.  Millions of Americans died in that war because of Japanese Imperialistic desires to rule the world.

I think both countries were wrong, but I especially think it is wrong for Japanese to hold it against Americans now.  Hasn't America done more than Japan was going to do if they had won the war?  Japan would never have set America free, I mean that was the whole point in attacking her to take her and make her theirs, right?  Instead America has stopped the madness, unfortunately it took nuclear bombs, and then they rebuilt Japan as an independent nation, right?

The things that happened in the war were wrong.  The civilians killed by both sides in the war should not have been killed.  It is immature to blame America for the deaths brought by the nuclear bombs in my opinion.  America never wanted the war to begin with.

I'll be glad when Christ comes and we can get over these wars and greedy desires and live in harmony.
